Questions before we work together.
Coaching is personal, and you should understand what you are signing up for before you decide whether 6thFrame is right for you. Here are answers to some of the questions you may have before reaching out.
What exactly is 6thFrame coaching?
6thFrame is one-on-one coaching built around perspective, accountability, pattern recognition, relationships, dating, personal growth, and forward action. The idea behind the name is simple: sometimes the situation itself is only part of the problem. The frame you are viewing it through—your assumptions, expectations, past experiences, habits, and automatic responses—can shape what you see and what you do next. We work on understanding that frame so you can make more intentional choices instead of repeating the same response.
Is 6thFrame therapy?
No. 6thFrame is coaching, not psychotherapy, counseling, medical treatment, or mental-health diagnosis. Coaching focuses on where you are now, the patterns and choices affecting your life, what you want to change, and the actions you can take moving forward. I do not diagnose mental-health conditions or provide treatment for them. If something comes up that is outside the appropriate scope of coaching, I may recommend working with a licensed mental-health or medical professional.
What do you mean by accountability?
Accountability is one of the foundations of 6thFrame, but it does not mean blaming yourself for everything that has happened to you. We separate what was done to you from what you are doing with it now. You may not have chosen another person's behavior, a breakup, betrayal, rejection, family history, or circumstances that affected you. But there may still be choices, reactions, boundaries, beliefs, or patterns that are yours to examine. Finding that part gives you something you can actually influence. Accountability here is about regaining agency, not creating shame.
What can I come to 6thFrame for?
Clients may come in for relationship problems, dating and partner-selection questions, recurring personal patterns, boundaries, motivation, self-accountability, difficulty following through, feeling stuck, major life transitions, rebuilding after a relationship, or simply wanting a clearer understanding of themselves. You do not need to arrive with a perfectly defined problem. Part of the discovery process is figuring out what is actually worth working on first.
Can you help me if I am already in a relationship?
Yes. Relationship coaching can focus on recurring conflict, communication, expectations, boundaries, compatibility, trust, emotional reactions, and the patterns you bring into the relationship. The purpose is not automatically to save or end a relationship. It is to help you see the dynamic more clearly, understand your own role in it, and make better-informed decisions about what happens next.
What if I am single or trying to get back into dating?
Dating coaching is a specific part of 6thFrame. We can work on what you actually want in a partner, the difference between attraction and compatibility, standards and boundaries, patterns in the people you choose, behaviors you tend to overlook or excuse, and what previous relationships may have taught you. The goal is not to teach pickup techniques or give you a script. It is to help you enter the dating world with a clearer understanding of yourself and what you are looking for.
Can 6thFrame help after a breakup or divorce?
Yes. The period after a relationship ends can be useful for more than simply trying to “move on.” We can look at what happened, what the relationship revealed, which parts were outside your control, which patterns or decisions were yours, what you want to carry forward, and what you do not want to repeat. That can also become preparation for dating again when you decide you are ready.
Do I need to believe in anything spiritual?
No. There is no religious requirement and you do not need to adopt a spiritual belief system to work with 6thFrame. The core program is grounded in accountability, patterns, relationships, perspective, and personal growth. For clients who are interested in broader questions about consciousness, interconnectedness, intuition, or the deeper perspective behind the 6thFrame name, that material can be explored later as optional expansion work. It is never something you have to believe in to participate.
What is the free Discovery Session?
The Discovery Session is your first conversation with 6thFrame and there is no charge for it. We use it to talk about what brought you here, what you would like to understand or change, and what kind of coaching may make sense. You can also ask questions about the approach, the Cram Program, pricing, or anything else you want to understand before making a decision. It is not a commitment to purchase coaching.
What if I don't know exactly what I need help with?
That is completely workable. Sometimes people know the symptom—“my relationships keep ending the same way,” “I can't get motivated,” “I feel stuck,” or “something isn't working”—without knowing the underlying issue. You do not need to diagnose yourself before contacting 6thFrame. We can use the Discovery Session and early coaching conversations to separate the different pieces and decide where it makes the most sense to begin.
What is a Guided Pathway?
A Guided Pathway is structured, milestone-based coaching built around one primary goal. Instead of treating each session as an isolated conversation, we create a personalized progression for the area you want to work on, track meaningful progress inside the client portal, and use assigned resources or exercises when they support the work. A Guided Pathway is not locked to a preset number of weeks; the pathway develops and adjusts as you make progress.
How is a Guided Pathway different from Pay As You Go?
Pay As You Go is flexible individual coaching without a required pathway. You can bring the issue that matters now and decide whether you want another session later. A Guided Pathway adds a managed coaching structure around a specific goal: personalized milestones, portal progress tracking, assigned resources, and adjustments to the pathway as your needs and progress change.
Does every Guided Pathway begin with accountability?
No. Accountability is an important 6thFrame skill, but each pathway begins with the foundation that best fits the client's actual challenge. A client working on follow-through may begin with accountability. A client moving through an identity transition or empty-nest stage may begin with rediscovery—remembering, reconnecting, and rebuilding—before accountability is introduced later to support the goals they choose.
How often do Guided Pathway clients meet?
Session frequency is flexible and is based on the pathway, the client's needs, and what will best support useful progress. Some clients may meet weekly for a period of time, while others may meet every other week or less frequently. The pathway is milestone-based rather than built around a fixed calendar length.
How is a Guided Pathway different from The CRAM?
A Guided Pathway is structured around one primary goal with flexible session frequency and no fixed completion date. The CRAM is different: it is a defined 12-cycle intensive. Each cycle includes one 45–60 minute private coaching session, four required development/application activities, and one required Session Integration. The CRAM advances through its curriculum by completed coaching cycles and required work, not by milestones. If a specific roadblock needs focused support, the CRAM can be paused while a Guided Pathway addresses it, then resumed without erasing completed CRAM work.
What is The Cram Program?
The CRAM is the 12-cycle 6thFrame intensive. Each coaching cycle includes one private 45–60 minute session, four required development/application activities scheduled through the cycle, and one required Session Integration after the coaching session. That creates five required client activities per cycle and 60 across the complete CRAM. The curriculum is predefined around the specific CRAM topic and builds from one cycle into the next; it is not a milestone-based pathway. Progress, submissions, coach review, feedback, and supporting resources are kept in the private CRAM portal area.
Do I have to commit to the three-month Cram Program?
The CRAM is designed as a 12-week intensive, but you are not locked into continuing if the program is no longer right for you. Billing stops if you cancel. Pay As You Go and Guided Pathways are also available for clients who want a different level of structure or a more flexible pace. If you begin Pay As You Go and later move into a structured program, eligible payments can count toward that program.
What is the Client Portal?
The Client Portal is a private login area for active clients. It can organize messages, session requests and approvals, signed-document records, assigned resources, and other material shared specifically with you. Guided Pathway clients can see their current milestones and Pathway progress. CRAM clients instead see their current CRAM week/cycle, required activities, Session Integration, completed submissions, coach feedback, session-related material, and overall CRAM completion.
Will other clients be able to see my portal information?
No. Portal access is tied to the individual client account. Resources are assigned to specific clients, and Cram information is connected to the enrolled client's account. You should never share your login credentials with anyone else. As the portal develops, access controls are designed so a client receives only the areas and materials that have been assigned to that account.
Can I contact you between sessions?
CRAM clients can have brief between-session message or voice-note check-ins as part of the program. Those check-ins are intended for accountability, clarification, or information relevant to the work between scheduled sessions. They are not monitored continuously, are not real-time communication, do not guarantee an immediate response, and are not an emergency or crisis-response service. Direct-access features can also be handled through the client portal rather than publishing private contact information on the public website.
What if I decide coaching isn't for me?
You are not locked into continuing simply because you started. Pay-as-you-go clients choose whether to schedule another session, and the Cram is designed so billing stops if you cancel. The Discovery Session exists partly so we can determine fit before you spend money. Coaching works best when both the client and coach believe the relationship and approach are useful.
Is what I share confidential?
Your privacy matters, and information shared for coaching should be treated respectfully and kept limited to what is needed to provide the service. However, coaching is not the same legal relationship as licensed psychotherapy, and it should not be presented as carrying every privilege or confidentiality rule that may apply to a licensed healthcare provider. Portal access should also be protected with your own private password, and you should avoid sending unnecessary highly sensitive information through ordinary email.
